Are You Measuring?

These are the two most important tools that I use to explore the digital world.

1. I experiment.
2. I measure.

Experiments are daring, they're inspiring, they're risky. I don't talk about experiments before I do them, that would be hype. Experiments can be small changes for 30 days or they can be a single action.

Measurements are realistic. They ask me this: did that work?

There's no sense in continuing to run an experiment when it isn't working.

If an experiment isn't working, I untether.
