Ev BogueOver the month of August, I decided to experiment. What if I write every single day for an entire month?
I've never published every day before. It was challenging to keep up. On some days, I felt tired, I wanted to skip, but I didn't. Instead, I came up with something to write. Sometimes the work landed, other times it didn't.
Publishing every day challenged me. It made me look outside the ideas that I'd been dwelling on. It helped me investigate new territory. Writing every day helped me see that I needed to untether from my past work, in order to evolve into the future.
It also made me ask some questions of my work. Does everyone want to hear from me every day? I wasn't sure. So, I decided to give you options.
Now that we're entering September, I have questions in my mind, for you.
I'm not asking because I want to change myself to fit the whims of 26,000 readers. I can't possibly make everyone happy. I also can't write about anything I haven't experienced myself.
I'd simply like to open the floor for you. I want to listen.
