Ev BogueIt's so easy to get dragged out on the Net to do something easy.
Whenever I open my screen, I feel the pull. I could be engaging in a conversation, or emailing a friend, or reading a blog post somewhere.
But I resist, I have to. Because I know I need to craft first.
My craft still has to happen in isolation from all of the rest of the flow. It's the act of writing, silently in a coffee shop somewhere as the clouds start to part and the sun comes out.

On August 3rd, I wrote a post called Infinite Mentality. After I wrote the post, something occurred to me. If I were to truly embrace what I said, I need to let go of my old e-books in order to create something new.
I need to create a new work from the ideas that are truly alive in me now.
This isn't to say these e-books aren't any good. I believe they are, and I was extremely passionate about them when I wrote them. Now, my mind and work has moved on. It's time to write about new things, and the best way to do that is to blank the slate on my products.
