I'm writing this on a train, rocketing down the west coast from Seattle to San Francisco.
Almost everyone in the observation car is snapping photos and videos on their cellphones as the train travels by a large body of water. Maybe they'll push those photos and videos to the web later? It's only a matter of time before we've captured everything, maybe we already have captured this view from this train a million times from thousands of perspectives.
If we have captured everything from every angle, does that begin to change how we capture?
Is it my original capture, my experience, what makes this ride different from everyone else's?
These are the questions arising as I make my way down the west coast.
I don't know where I'm going, but I do know I'll let you know when I get there.
