Here's an experiment: What if I bring together 11 people for 1 week (Mon-Sun Sept 19th-26th) to ideate on a specific topic?

The topic? Evolving Your Digital Presence.

We all have one now, it's our digital presence. It's the us that we bring onto the web, and like us, our digital presence is constantly evolving. We're in the midst of the 'next evolution' of digital presence online. CSS3 + HTML5 is revolutionizing how our selves are displayed. Google+ has changed social networking forever. What works in this space now? What doesn't?

This mastermind group will bring together an exclusive group of like-minded individuals to ideate around the topic for one week.

Who this is for? You're interested in meeting people who ideate at a higher level. You're willing to do the work (not just talk the talk). You're able to bring an active digital presence to the table. You're willing to tell from experience about what is working for you, and what is not. You're able to contribute to a group discussion for 7 days (Mon-Sun Sept 19th-26th). You're willing to experiment in real time and bring results back to the group. You're ambitious and bring an open mind to the table.

This isn't for you if... You want to lurk on a discussion (stay silent, not contribute). You want private coaching with Ev (this isn't the place). You're not interested evolving the topic. You want to philosophize about what might happen in the future. You want to be part of a feel-good ephemeral back-patting session. You think you already have all the answers.

What you get? 7 days of intense discussion, told from experience by the group, and linchpinned by Ev Bogue. I'll be sending a private question to spark the discussion to all the members every day at 11am PST. Lasting connections with like-minded colleagues.

What you need? A Google+ account. Daily sessions will take place in a private circle sent only to the group.

What's required? You MUST contribute to the subject every day for the week (or you won't receive the next day's prompt.) Don't sign up if you can't attend at least once a day.

Questions

Do I have the skills to participate?

I'm expecting a group with a wide range of skills. The only thing you need to bring to the table is what you know, what you've experienced, and we'll engage from there. In many ways, the group will converge at the level at which it comes together. It's impossible to say where the bar is right now, we'll know when the discussion starts. My intention is to be heavily involved in posts for the entire week, asking tough questions, and keeping the discussion moving forward (not downward, into the noise.)

But, I don't know who will be in the group with me?

Linchpin sessions can be hit or miss, (under the wrong circumstances.) This is why the container is so small, intensive, and exclusive. It's my intention to do everything in my power to evolve the conversation in a direction that grows everyone involved. I do this by asking the right questions, speaking from experience, and pushing back if the conversation wanders from our objectives.
