As I've continued to pack and un-pack my bag over the past few days, wandering down the coast by train from Seattle to San Francisco, I've been considering my Things.
What purpose does every Thing serve?
I ask the question "why?" of every Thing that I have. Does it have a good answer? If not. I untether.
I ask these same questions when I travel online. I take a moment to check in. Where am I now? Do I want to be here? Where am I hanging out?
I travel instantly online. However, where I travel to can take up endless amounts of time. The days I spent in Facebook are days I can never have back. The days I spend creating? They're valuable from now into the future.
So, I ask the question: why am I here? What have I brought with me? How is it serving me?
Can I answer the question: "why?"
If not. I untether.
